Fundrise (RSE Capital Partners affiliate) - Associate (Acquisitions and Asset Management)

Via eight discretionary investment funds, RSE Capital Partners sources and manages the real estate investments for the Fundrise platform.  

Fundrise has an immediate opening in the DC office for a full-time Associate. Candidates for this position must have at least two years of experience working in commercial real estate.

A successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills and a strong work ethic.  Fundrise is looking for highly motivated individuals who thrive in a dynamic, team-based environment with the initiative to work independently. Source and originate deals ranging from commercial to residential
Underwrite transactions:

develop project pro-forma,
assess market/submarket trends, comps, etc.
Evaluate sponsor track record and reputation

Draft Investment Committee memos
Assist with due diligence and closing processes

Asset Management

Review regular reporting
Maintain pro-formas
Conduct hold-sale analysis
Calculate quarterly NAVs
Assist with preparation of updated business plans
Assist with loan pay-offs (debt investments) and dispositions (equity investments) 



Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of experience working in commercial real estate
Strong understanding of real estate investment principles, a working understanding of real estate pro-formas and valuation methods, and strong Excel modeling skills.  Knowledge of Argus is a plus
Superior written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and sales skills
Outstanding organizational skills; ability to leverage and improve systems to manage a high volume of transactions
Must be self-directed, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-oriented and fast paced environment
Intellectually curious, creative, and collaborative
